AHh, finally Harry breaks the cherry! Or is it James learns about dames? Aww heck it's all good fun. I thought the leaving his money thing was chintzy and will cheapen the night for sure, not that Karina would mind being she has a kid and all. The ice lips is a great idea and it makes me wonder what else you have in store for Harry. Will Amy get a taste of Harry's new spell?

Wonderful chapter! Lots of laughs, a little euphemistic smut, and an interesting plot thread! Woo hoo!

Well, it would be funny if he ever got to sex with Luna and she asked him about his sexual partners.
"Yeah I slept with a woman from Brazil, and this girl from Canada. It only burns when I pee half of the time."

I don't know if Luna would receive that news so well. Thanks for the review, just catching up on all my replies.~Jim

Very good chapter. Harry is getting an education in life.

The thing is...Harry wasn't even being naive here with Karina...he was being stupid. There is a large difference between the two.
Thanks for writing,
Matt
JBern replied:
Ah, but he was 15. Show me a person who doesn't do something silly at age 15 and I'll show you a liar. I could also argue that Harry lived such a repressed life that at that time, handed his freedom (essentially) by Bill, he would immediately test his boundaries.~Jim

"For the longest time Singapore and Calcutta had rat problems. It’s taboo to kill a rat in some cultures"
As a Singaporean Chinese, I have to say that I kind of resent that. It is *definitely* not taboo to kill a rat here, nor(I believe) has it ever been so. But seeing as how this is *the* best piece of fanfiction written in the second person perspective I've ever read, I can overlook it.
P.S: I know you have probably already heard many variations of this but indulge me while I reiterate the fact that your take on Bill is bloody fantastic.
Happy writing!
JBern replied:
When I wrote that it was more in reference to Calcutta. Unfortunately for Singapore, the bulk of their transfers was with Calcutta. Hence the rat problem that irritated the Goblins and their Cursebreakers in Singapore.
Sorry if it wasn't clear what I was trying to say. At some point I'll fix it, but I'm more concerned with finishing the story first before I correct the pile of errata.
Glad you enjoy the story. Hope it continues to get the nod of approval.~Jim

It’s not the Imperius curse. You could resist that.

"You decide to face the music and pray that it isn't too loud" was a very funny line. Pretty much anything Bill said was also very funny. The cheap broomstick was particularly good. Poor Harry.
JBern replied:
Ah the sobering charm...life would be much easier with one wouldn't it? (Are you really the coolest pixie?)~Jim

The education of Harry is most interesting. Bil is wise as a 'big brother,' and you're writing this very well.
Brilliant!
JBern replied:
I've always liked Bill and Charlie out of the Weasleys. I actually don't like Fred and George, believe it or not. Three cheers for more Naked Veela!~Jim

young and naive and noble is a pretty fair description for Harry - how could he be otherwise - and if it gets him into the arms etc of a mother supporting a son with whatever assets she has, oh well.
very much liking the story now - vastly more readable than chapter 2
thanks and by the way - Welcome to Fan Fic Authors - the elite of the fanfic world

You really didn't like chapter 2, did you? Thanks for sticking with it. Of course having seen a flash of the future, is Karina still a factor in his life?~Jim
