The Dodgespell tourney was cool, even if it wasn't as detailed as the first fun game. The Trolls were amusing, but the best is Luna's wand story. Makes me wonder how you come up with stuff like that. I like the story moving forward, even if there is less action. I like being able to relate to Harry's relationship confusions. Normally a guy has to get screwed over once or twice before he's able to avoid the emotional attachment. Great writing!

I still am loving this story. Dodgespell is actually pretty close to the game I am putting in the fic I'm working on! I'm excited to find out what Harry's animal form will be, and I really like the ceremony. it makes more sense than the 'European way". I'm also liiking forward to seeing the events leading up to chapter 1 and DYING to find out what happens next!

Editorial notes:
"...not sure exactly why you have done that requires her forgiveness..."
- ...what you have done..."

"...you head back to the hotel I relative silence..."
- ...in relative silence..."

"With that agreed on everyone, grasps the Portkey to your next destination."
- with that agreed on, everyone...

Dull rusty sporks are feared weapons for good reasons.
Any rule that can save your life deserves to be a golden rule. Golden rule look both ways before crossing the street.
What I think is that your story is enjoyable.

Good chapter. What is Harry going to do with a single mom and her son. He can't just leave them to whatever happens. He could move them and get her a job. Lots of opeions.

I like Kwan, among earning my respect by not asking for a pay raise, he's funny as well, following that up with "You still stupid cook."

The whole 'fighting, not dueling' thing is something I've noticed in your stories now. I agree. Dueling is a gentleman's game, with rules. Not exactly the same as fighting for your life.

JBern replied:

Just think, you have a whole 'nother story of mine to read!   Wait until you see the fights still to come in this story.~Jim

I get your point about Naked Veela. Clearly they much improve your point of view. The way that Fleur manages to convey "Come hither and ravage me" is brilliant. Loved the line "Yes, my life flashed before my eyes and I found out that it needs to be longer." There was nice development between Harry and his girls too.

JBern replied:

More naked Veela is always a good thing.   Plus I enjoyed the running gag of Harry keeps running into Fleur in a compromising state of dress.~Jim

Honduras!!! that's my home country, nice to see it appear somewhere around here(the fanfiction world). Would be nice if Harry could stop by the Bay Islands, where the world's second largest coral reef is located. I like this story, and am reading it since yesterday, it's very enjoyable, I also like the different perspective, keep it up!

JBern replied:

I'll keep the Bay Islands in mind for later in the story if they portkey back to the US again.   It sounds really nice.   Glad you enjoy the unique perspective.~Jim

The runic work for warding continues to amaze me with your creativity. Growing up Harry continues apace and you have Bill doing a fine job of enough-but-not-too-much.

I am mightily impressed and definitely glad you are now on this site.

Cheers!

JBern replied:

Wow!   Thanks.   Your compliments mean quite a bit.   I think you'll be pleased by what's ahead in the next few chapters.~Jim

Great to see you on this site. I ´ve been following your work on fanfiction.net. Are the chapters you publish here identical to the ones published on the other side, or have you remolded them so I should read them again?

JBern replied:

No other than a few grammar fixes, they are the same   chapters.   Chapter 14 should be up this coming weekend.  ~Jim
