While the POV is different and interesting I'm not sure if I like the direction things are going. Hermione pull one over on Harry? Sheeit, if Harry can't lie then Hermione is bollocks at it too, at least to him 'n Ron. Hmm, "sexual inhibitor" that sounds like a challange.. :D

I was a little iffy on the whole second person pov, the only experiance with it I have is some of the old goosebump books. But I think it's growing on me... It certainly is a unique read.

I think 2nd person added something that just wouldn't have been there in the first person pov.~Jim

the story looks like its interesting, but i cant get past the writing style. now its time to see if you got any other good long stories that i havent read already.

JBern replied:

Well, it's not for everyone.   Maybe somewhere down the line you'll give it a try again.`Jim

Yes, you definitely have to get out. I think Oh Shit is all that fits here. I'm glad to see that explainations will be forthcoming.

JBern replied:

Hope you are continuing to enjoy this story and the sequel.~Jim

I'm very intrigued. Damn you and keeping me from my sleep!

JBern replied:

You went into this story without taking some time off?   Wow that'll be a problem.   Currently, you're 29 chapters behind including the 4 from the in progress sequel.

I think you'll enjoy this take on Harry's character and the 2nd person doesn't seem to bother you so that's good.

All I can say is that you're in for a treat and be careful about eating or drinking while reading this story.   You'll see why.   ~Jim

I love that Howard Jones song, too. Just a what-for.

JBern replied:

Makes you wonder what Howard Jones is up to these days?       Hope you liked the story.~Jim

Loved the Dark Lord Grumblefart. That last scene explains so very much. Poor Harry, his obliviated mind will find it pretty hard to cope if they keep doing this to him. Superb chapter. That was dark and twisted and so good.

JBern replied:

Originally I was going to only use about 9 chapters between chapter 1 and getting back to chapter 1.   The story got more involved as it took off, which is a good thing.~Jim

Wow! That first chapter was great and funny but this develops in such a way you just don't see it coming at all. Grear that they tried him out with Ginny and Hermione. Really liked the broom accident cause. lol!

Makes sense as to why he was so disgruntled in the first chapter!

Really like this! Keep it up please!

Thanks again for the reviews.   I'm catching up on my replies obviously as I am waiting on final input and beta of chapter 29 for my other story (should be up in a few days).

My goal in this story is to give you a complete Harry experience as seen from inside his mind, hearing his thoughts and seeing the world through his eyes.

This is a twisted chapter. I know that from the books that DD manipulates Harry's life a lot but still, I am soo pissed off at this chapter and what his "friends" do to Harry. For some reason I just don't see Hermoine doing that to Harry especially after she sticks with him through the triwizard tournament without question. Great chapter well written and I hope that this is the last of this stuff until back at Hogwarts.

JBern replied:

Sadly for explanations about his 'friends' you will have to wait for the sequel.   Hope you enjoy the rest.~Jim

That's *really* nasty. I'm amazed that they seemingly got everyone to go along with it. Or did some of them get 'adjusted' as well?

JBern replied:

Good question.   You never see Ron in the story.   His motivation is assumed, but never confirmed.   We'll sse his 'friends' again inthe sequel. ~Jim

Never have I read a Ginny AND Hermione turn on Harry story. And Ron AND the twins.

Different. What will you do with it?

Fascinating!

JBern replied:

The most difficult thing was to do it, but make it believable.   Many of the reasons won't come out until the sequel, but I think you will be pleased.~Jim

Ken Warner posted a comment on Sunday 5th November 2006 11:51am for Walking Through Forests

the last chapter was a complete jumble, making no sense what so ever, unless Harry is in some sort of brain damage loop or loops of memory with no link tothe outside world. no offense intended, but If I wanted to read demented ramblings I would pick up the congressional record or the democratic national platform.

hopefully he heals in the next chapter.

JBern replied:

Harry's confusion is intentional.   As you only recieve the information that Harry does, you may also be confused.   Next chapter should clear things up for you.~Jim
