Hmm. Interesting take here Jim. So, Harry is somewhat meshed with James since the AK did damage Harry's soul, or is it something else?

I have to admit, a partial merger between two souls is interesting, and while it has been done before, you are taking it on a path I don't recall seeing before.

If you want some tips, talk to Matt (Viridian) since his Nightmares of Futures Past is using something similar, though different in how it came about.

This definitely has promise here.

Heya! Just me again, I went back and read something that confused me the first time through and thought I might point out to ya ;)

Wouldn't the part where Harry pointed out the mistake in Runes paper of the seventh year show that he was channelling a bit of Lily seeings as I remember in the books JK mentioned that Runes was one of Lily's specialties in school where Jame's was Transfiguration and Charms?

Not criticizing ya here, but was something that I thought you might want to know, asides I still stick by my first review in saying that this is a great fic you got started here and a nice original path that you are taking with Harry :)

As I recall, Lily was Runes and Charms.   James is always mentioned in Transfiguration.   However, there is no reason to believe that James didn't take Runes.   Maybe he didn't care to pursue Newts in CoMC or Herbology.   Maybe he stayed with Runes to make time with that Evans chick?
