Loved the Hat's crudity.

I liked the scene with Ron. Good on him trying to do the right thing.

Loved the lead-up to the challenge. I say ten to one it wasn't Hagrid. Polyjuice, I imagine.

Excellent chapter overall but damn you for the cliffhanger. Next chapter better be out by the end of the month like you say; too many authors have just disappeared.

Last chapter ended with it being announced that Draco was going to be branded.   That's hardly a cliffhanger.   This is what a cliffhanger is really like.   (Kind of like the old Dundee movie - Now this is a knife!)   I usually try to end with either a cliffy or a good joke.   This time you got the cliffy.

Whoa! That's a heck of a cliffhanger! Something's wrong with Hagrid and Harry is face to face with six dementors with no wand. I appreciate the promise to update by the end of the month!

I liked the rest of the chapter too. The trash talk during the individual challenge was good. I hope Hermione does better against Durmstrang though. I think canon definitely supports the idea that she'd freak out a bit, but by fourth year she'd also already gone after the Philosopher's Stone and come face to face with Sirius Black and a werewolf without freezing up, so I'd say she's definitely got what it takes to do better than that, especially if HJ can give her some encouragement.

Great stuff, and I can't wait for the next chapter.

I hate you. i've been waiting for you to update and you finaly do so the day of my most important A-level exam. (I didn't get it yesturday).

Nothing constructive to say really, you mised some typos(or your beta) but I thoroughly enjoyed the chapter.

I kinda cruised through the Draco part but the Tri Wizard Tournament certainly has the blood pumping.

Now who or what has gotten into Hagrid? That's gonna kill me for the upcoming weeks...

Hagrid wtf seriously someone is impersonating him right or has him under Imperious because I know he didn't just shout "Freedom for giants everywhere" I'm pretty sure giants are free for lack of a better word they killed each other and or everything around them so it's kinda hard to not give them freedom. Unless Giants have suddenly become super misunderstood which I doubt so what just happened.

Excellent, excellent chapter! I've been hooked on your work since I started reading "To Fight the Coming Darkness". I devoured "Bungle" and really enjoy "Turn Me Loose".

I have to say that the Sorting Hat might be my favorite part of any HP fan fic I've read. I certainly can't think of a funnier item.

I've never been a fan of first-person writing, but the humor and droll sarcasm wouldn't work in any other writing style, and so it fits these stories perfectly.

Thanks again for all your fics. And hey, my vote is for HJ to somehow end up in bed with Hermione, even against his better judgement. Even funnier than that, would be if she turned out to be a screamer and a maniac in the sack. I doubt that'll happen, but just imagine all the humor and oh god! the Hat would flay HJ with that info!
