I'm wondering if the Great hall heard his statement about shagging Svetlana/Baba whatever. Things would be especially awkward with everyone hearing that. Especially relations with Hermione/Luna.
I'd bet money Dumbledore arranged for the theft of the blood anchor, in hopes that it would be used in a way to ensure Harry was finished once Riddle was mortal. Use the blood anchor on a useless blood ward then trap Harry whilst sapping his very life force, like it was doing to Hermione. Harry seemed disgusted by the idea of hitting the Hookah, but heck he's harboring a piece right in his forehead. As the last-created shard I wonder if it would've collapsed sooner if she fed off it, course she'd probably have to feed off Harry's soul too...

This is a great chapter, its wonderful in that it was out of Hogwarts but an annoying end now that he is back at Hogwarts. Lol!
Why have you stopped your witty comments in your disclaimers? I do miss them.
I like the contrast you have between stories in this chapter again. One of the mercenary Dave's tells Harry to get back into the fight whilst he helps Moody. Prompting Harry to think he knows very little healing magic. He is very much a wizard who kills and HJ in Lie has the contrast of his healer training with Poppy. Do you deliberately try to make great contrasts like that between your stories?
Even more good contrasts is Harry's relationship with Fawkes, loved that he wants to change the name of the company from Phoenix Expeditions. Making Fawkes drink curdled milk is a funny idea too.
Liked that Svetlana turned out to be Baba Yaga, I was kind of expecting that though. Another great line: "For someone pushing seven hundred, she wasn't a bad shag!"
Not that I'm Moody's biggest fan and I like your intepretation of him but having so many die in this Baba Yaga arc seemed a bit much. I know most of the casualties were Mercenaries it seemed quite a heavy toll for the one Horcrux. It makes it real but the fact that they died fighting in what was essentially a test by Baba Yaga seems pointless. I suppose you will come back with that war and fighting generally is pointless but Its just an opinion I wanted to share.
I was going to ask why you haven't mentioned much about spell chaining in this story when it was one of the great aspects of Bungle you created. I don't need to worry about it now as you had a little snippet in this one so I got my fix.
Glad I have one more chapter to read.
Thanks for writing as ever!

A very interesting and action packed chapter. The goblin revolt was expected with all the happenings in Brazil but what caused it in Britain? Was the death of Arranger the catalyst? Voldemort getting the homoculus could be interesting, what will he do with it? Make a better/younger body for himself? He already has Harry's blood in his veins. Also wont the blood wards be pointless now? Every chapter I read in both your ongoing fics opens up many avenues and keeps the story really interesting. Thank you for such an engaging tale... Looking forward to updates.

I'm just waiting to see more of Luna. You do seem to have a wrong bent, shag with a seven hundred year old witch? I'm sorry for Harry, heh. I'm really digging the story though. Thanks a lot!

Hahaha! Poor Harry, gonna catch so much grief over this.... And after you have finished this have you put any thought into a Harry/Bellatrix pairing?

I just thought of this, and it doesn't really relate to this chapter at all, but I thought it was funny so here goes. Harry and Bill should at some point run into some kind of ward that creates two translucent blue walls of energy in a hallway, blocking them in and slowly contracting in. Maybe it'll crush them or disintegrate them, something cool. And it would be called...The blue screen of death.

thank you as always for the great entertainment. although I must say that either I'm getting better at recognizing your style or your getting predictable ;) I had a bet against my brother who also reads your stories that baba yaga would be svetlana.... you had me stumped with the attraction to harry cos of the horcrux though :P

Great chapter. Good fight. I was suspicious of Svetlana, as I'm sure I was supposed to be. Good luck with your upcoming publication. Thanks for writing. W.

Harry is such a player. It's a bit unfair.

Oh, very nice. Lots of brutal bloodshed swiftly followed by betrayal and then some dark secrets followed by a bit of down and dirty shagging. What more could anyone ask for? *grins* Oh yeah, utter humilation thanks to a flaming bird. *winks*

Keep up the wonderful work! I'm enjoying the hell out of this story. And who'd'a thunk that a 700 year old lady could bend like THAT.

This was a really interesting and unexpected twist to the story. Of course it isn't that surprising that Harry was used this way. Of course he really wasn't that unwilling but I understand the conflict in his mind. At least the locket horcrux is destroyed. Now he has the cup, Voldemort himself and then the problem of the horcrux in his scar. Thanks so much for writing. I look forward to "The Great Goblin War." pms

HAHAHAHA! Baba Yaga the metamorph! That was great!
After spending the last few days reading depressing and dark fan fiction and various sites this was the perfect chapter to read! The humor tied in with the fast paced plot was inspired!
Love this novel!

Harry really needs to learn how to keep his mouth shut. Poor Luna.
Then again, Harry was tricked into boning a 700 year old soul eating crone. Poor Harry.
That was a pretty hilarious ending, though. Well done.
