Way cool, great start, more please :)
I didn't notice any errors and i like the idea and am very curious at this point.
Harry know thing he shouldn't, is more mature, noticing girls and flirting. So i'll guess some sort of time travel and the future he wasnts to change is showing up in dreams?
Looking forward to more.

Thank you. Things will become more apparent after chapter 2 is up next week. You should have your answer then...~Jim

From what I have read I love it. I think this could actually be a very intense story when you get a few more chapters into it. It has the possibility of being a HUGE story. This is the start of one of those stories that can go two or three hundred thousand words.
JBern replied:
Good lord I hope not. The challenge I'm doing says it has to be complete by August 1st. Though it could warrant a sequel.~Jim

this is....interesting.
something of a combination of the two different Harrys so far, I find, in his attitude. We'll see what comes of it.
as for 3rd, 2nd, 1st POV, well why the hell not? :)
JBern replied:
And I'm doing it all at the same time. Though the swap between 2nd and 1st person was a bit difficult.~Jim

liked the start, and you've got me intrigued. Didn't see anything major, plot-wise or style wise to be fixed. Looking forwards to more!

good start, very engaging. however, you're killing me! let's see. what's going to happen to harry in the jungle with or without luna? and, pray tell, what's going on with susan and harry. aarrrgghhh. must be some little bit of tom manifesting itself. the question is, what was the trigger? the time turner?
JBern replied:
The trigger will eventually become apparent. I'll write as quickly as I can on all 3 stories.~Jim

Uh-huh! This is an interesting twist to the image of Harry being a clone of his father. Like a reverse Severitus. Kind of. In an Alice in Wonderland kind of way.
Okay, maybe not. Still, this is kind of intriguing. I'm curious as to what'll happen during the summer, and I can't wait for what you have in store for the Tri-Wizard tournament.
JBern replied:
You'll barely be able to recognize the tournament when I'm through with it.~Jim

Your stories are a joy to read, and this looks damn promissing!
Now Snape will have a case when he says that Harry is just like his father *rofl* poor guy. :D
Imagine: "...just like your no good father!"
"At least I have a reason to act like I'm 15!You're still the same dark-obsessed bat-like hygiene-optional piece of dementor offal with dirty underwear Snivellus!"
JBern replied:
Just the angle I've been considering as well. Thanks for the chuckle.~Jim

This is an interesting start to a story. I hope this is gonna be continued after the rest, because bungle is one of my favorites right now.
JBern replied:
It goes into the mix. Sorry. I need to have it done as part of the challenge before August 1st.~Jim

Hey JBern... :D
This one definitely looks promising, and I am definitely looking forward to more. I love how you portrayed Oliver, very believable. And I especially liked how clueless Harry was, even though it is somewhat understandable. :D
Take Care,

sounds good! :) You've got a great start going on this, and I'm wondering where you're headed. But wherever it is, you've got a good set-up, so I think it'll be a great story. Loads of fun already. :) Looking forward to more as you churn it out! Thanks for sharing.

hmm, so part of james is still around, and somehow tied up in harry's head? perhaps merged with harry's personality because of the dementors bringing forth memories of his parents' death? anyway, seems very interesting. i'm wondering why fleur, but considering the rest of your stories, it's bound to be fun to read.
i'm kinda hoping you'll get around to do a harry/hermione story too someday...
anyway, keep up the good work. looks like a promising beginning.
JBern replied:
Why Fleur? Why not. The other students will look a bit on the youngish side to a Harry with James' memories or a James with Harry's body (take your pick). Fleur on the other hand is an exotic challenge...
Right now my H/Hr story is about 2 stories out in the distance. It'll be awhile, plus I like developing under used pairs. Most Harry/Fluer stories turn into late night B-porn if you know what I mean, so I figured I'd take a stab.~Jim
