A nice little chapter. Interesting to see Dumbledore reacting to his impending death by becoming more manipulative rather than more open.

No comments, other than Herm's eyes being opened, finally.
Snape and the Malfoys still need to be killed and Harry should arrange it quickly. Just the thought of Snape as Headmaster is enough to justify his immediate death.

It was very good up to this point and the plot is good and you are also a good author.
Whatever others say, i like this very much.
Thank you

Wow, loved the No-blow-too-low!Dumbledore. Made me feel pity for Hermione.
Go Kreacher!

Wow... Impressive work.
Excellently written chapter. Although I'm pretty sure a longer chapter would have taken away the impact of this one's events, I still wish to have more of this as soon as possible.
Keep up the great work and please update soon.

Well, all things considered I stand by an earlier review I left in regards to one Albus Dumbledore. He is a far worse villain than Voldemort, because he doesn't do any of his own dirty work.
The best thing Harry can do at this point is kill Voldemort first. Once he gains the notoriety from that, he can then destroy the memory of Albus Dumbledore slowly and with great pleasure.
Seeing as how this story remains a Harry/Luna story, I can't see the plot reasoning behind the roll in the bed between Harry and Hermione.
It seems as if you've created a monster of sorts with your manipulative Dumbledore, he is even hijacking the story this chapter, and it doesn't make for very good reading.
Thanks for writing, and good luck with your short stories,
Matt

Holy Shit. And the award for biggest bastard Dumbledore goes to JBern!!! Seriously, there are a lot of "Manipulative" and "Evil" Dumbledore stories out there, but yours takes the cake for just pure "my way, or else you'll be on my way but you just won't know it" tactics.

It would be nice to have Hermione to attach DD for what he did. That was deffently a low blow.
thanks for writing

I hope that when the showdown between Harry and Dumbles actually happens, that the old man suffers to the bitter end. Pansy, Draco, Dumbles, and even Fawkes...there's a lot of debt to be settled. And why would Dumbledore care about the homunculus and
the dark magic. He can't care about Harry's soul, when his actions have clearly demonstrated that he doesn't care about his own. The road to hell is paved with
the greater good.

Given everything that been going on in this story. I think Dumbledore may have actually done them a favor. Well, maybe not with that fertility potion part, but getting laid might solve a lot of interpersonal issues.

Wow. Can't wait to see how you make Harry respond, it'll have to be a doozy. This Dumbledore is definately one of the more unlikable versions I've ever read. Keep up the good work.

- Great Googley Moogley. Magical spanish fly works both ways. Harry's right, Dumbledore needs to die, slowly and painfully.
- Uh, where would one find some of that cream?

The manipulations are coming full swing from the old coot.
I would have loved seeing kreacher becoming more maniac with that kill pansy order, for a strange reason I really do like that ancient brownie

Very interesting chapter. The scene with Hermione was a bit surprising, but certainly in character with the Dumbledore of this story. A logical progression from his manipulative nature in canon to this extreme.
I'll be interested to see what Snape's reason for being so protective of Draco is.
One question, though. Why is Snape so sure that he'd be Headmaster when Dumbles dies? Dumbles having been the only thing standing between Snape and Azkaban for many years, I can't imagine Scrimgeour would be too eager to see a marked Death Eater in charge of Hogwarts. Seems that with Dumbles dead, Snape would be in a very precarious position.

Congrats on the book. Hope you sell a lot more than my next monograph will!
Dumbles is really a piece of work here, and deserves anything that happens to him

Nice chapter, short, but always a welcome update. I enjoyed how you bastardized Dumbledore a bit more in this one, and played up the hopelessness of Harry, and all of Wizarding England's situation. Keep up the good work!
