Imagine Harry Potter raised by Sibyll Trelawney.  He arrives at Hogwarts versed in the higher arts of Divination, Arithmancy, Numerology, and Palmistry.  You know - real magic and certainly not that foolish wand waving and ingredient mixing.

The sequel to Bungle in the Jungle.  Told in 2nd person.  Harry Potter has returned to England.  In the jungles of South America, he became his own man, a hero of his own choice and not unfortunate circumstance.  Is it enough to save him?  To survive this time, he must overcome his enemies and perhaps even his allies.  He must be faster, smarter, and better than ever.  If he is to prevail, he must become more that a chosen one, more than a child with a clever moniker, he must become a legend.

What is more frightening?  The enemies Harry will fight in a war to control Magical Britain or the things he will have to do - the person he will become if he is to win?  Can Susan Bones save him from himself?  Follow them in their struggle against a realistic Voldemort.  Expect twists on cliches and things you take for granted in the HP universe.

Written for the March/April Potterficforum Challenge.  I was assigned the characters of Draco and Ginny.  This is a scene inspired by by Nukular Winter.  His original idea was them arguing at the equivalent of a Hogwart's PTA meeting.  Instead, I put them on the Hogwarts Board of Governors.
