Dude, what did Tonks do to you I mean my god that is just plain disturbing.
JBern replied:
Absolutely nothing. It's just the way the story was being written.~Jim

Holy shit I loved Hagrid in this. Truly an impressive send off for one of the most underestimated characters in the series. It also made me smile how a half giant, ostracized in his own world was almost able to kill Voldemort
JBern replied:
I enjoyed writing Hagrid this way. He is grossly underused.~Jim

I KNEW I'D FIND IT!!!
I've been looking for a story I started sometime ago and never finished but I rememebered Narcissa dragging Charlie off as a bodygaurd and thought it was one of the funniest things that I'd ever come across... And I finally found it!
On to the next chapter... and maybe I'll finish the story this time.
JBern replied:
Glad you found it.~Jim

The Joke Shop? Of course it was a silly idea... and the events I suggested if pulled on Voldy would of course result in the latter getting cheesed off and flattening the whole place... but it would still be in character. The TWINS are silly.
JBern replied:
Good point. I think when I was writing that section I was too wary of Supercool! Twins - the pranksters that outwit Dark Lords. It didn't fit well with the narrative I was trying to build. Maybe if I had sent a bunch of DE thugs it would have been a good scene, but the novelty of Voldemort going into WWW was too good to pass up.

That, was $#%^@$%^ awesome!!!I think I woke my wife up laughing at the end with Percy!!! You are a awesome writer and have a brilliant imagination. I am going to be late for work tomorrow...if I go in at all. Keep it up mate
JBern replied:
Apologies to the spousal unit. Hope you weren't too late getting to work.~Jim

Bah. I hate babies. Or, more specifically, when 16 year old Harry has a baby with a 16 year old teenage girl.
JBern replied:
If I had to do the story over again, I might not have gone down the preggers route, but the whole story was a learning experience.~Jim

What's wrong with Sirius? I thought he was pretty experienced in combat.
JBern replied:
The paintings can only do minor spells.

I've actually ignored this story because I was unsure about the unusual pairing (Susan). It turns out this actually might be one of the best HP fanfiction pieces I've ever read - not that I'd expect any less from jbern :)

Thanks for the compliments.~Jim

I think I like your Voldemort. He's actually pretty cool and badass here (wow, did I really say that).
JBern replied:
I tried to make a believeable and interesting villain.
