Srry to leave a second review that has nothing to do with the story but can you also tell me when you are going to update the Lie I've lived again because you have two great story's going here and I dont want to see one neglected for the other one! But you have done it so far! Great Story's all of them!

JBern replied:

Lie will be updated in 1-2 weeks.   I usually alternate between the stories and give myself 3-4 weeks for each installment.   In between, I am working on my original novel and other stories.  ~Jim

Why, oh why did you have to have a cliffhanger! I loved this chapter and I can't wait for the next one! I also would love to see a Ginny confrontation, i just seem to like confrontations and bad dumbledores! Well, congrats on another great chapter and I hope the next comes out soon cause you can't just leave a reader hanging like this! Terrific job!

P.S I loved the authors notes they were so funny!

JBern replied:

Ginny's avoiding Harry and honestly Harry has bigger fish to fry at the moment.   Next chapter of this one in 3-4 weeks.~Jim

P.S. I'll pass along the kudos to Garret PI.

What story involves Bill under a bed? Good chapter, but it needs more Hack. I heard the songs these two works borrow their titles from recently. I like Tull better I think.

JBern replied:

Tull fit Bungle quite well.   Hopefully, Turn Me Loose will do just as well (plus that wild bass guitar at the beginning...)~Jim

This is a great chapter. I really like these longer chapters. So much more going on and the story flows better. I'm glad Harry is telling Dumbledore off in a way he can't dispute as he usually would. The trip to Azkaban was really enlightening. I look forward to finding out what the Dementor had to say to Harry. I'm glad Harry is going slowly with Luna. Luna is really smart but she is inexperienced with relationships. Hermione is really pushing and Harry is deffinitely pushing her back. I'm glad he is letting her know how diappointed he is in her. She deserves it. It is interesting that Fleur is prying into Luna's memories about her interactions with Harry. Is Fleur jealous? I guess time will tell. I'm glad Harry has Bill and Kwan to advise him and help him out. Transferring some of Harry's money to cash on hand will help keep them incontrol of their ability to do the things they need to do. Thanks for writing. I am really enjoying this story. I look forward to the updates on all the stories you are working on. pms

JBern replied:

I'm sure Harry wants to know what the dementors are up to as well.   Harry needs to push back at Hermione.   Fleur may end up causing problems ...~Jim

Hm, I have to grudgingly give Dumbledore some points for silenty acquiescing to Harry's plan, or at least part of it. Although I do remember what a manipulative bastard he is, it seems he might be making some progress?

I continue to love Harry's hatred of the Goblin people. Harry Potter, Best Chum of the Goblins, is reallllly starting to get old in fics. :)

Heh, Bill's animagus form was most amusing/fitting. And I can't wait until next chapter with the conversation with Snape. :)

JBern replied:

Dumbledore is making progress at being a manipulative bastard.   If you think he hates goblins now...just wait...

Next chapter in 3-4 weeks~Jim

And just because Hack troll, no reason to think he and I have been off 'avin' a good time down at the hogshead either. I can tell yer that if yeh dress that troll up yeh can have 'im dancin' like the creature from that muggle movie young frankinwhatsis... Sittin' on a ritz or whatever. Another great chappy yeh've written fer us. I don't know who I like less at this point, Hermy funbags or Dumpley-Doore. Next chapter, Snape Snacks? Snivilus Snasuages? Potions Professor Pom Poms? I kan 'ardly wait.
Although I appriciate Aaaron St-Vines 'elpin' ya he does have 'is own stories that need attention. Course, if he quit that story about 'Arry and Ginny he'd have more time fer The Granger Defense. Feel free ter pass this comment along ter 'im. Seems he needs a kick in the yarbles to get 'im movin'.

JBern replied:

I reckon I can pass along your comments to ASV.   Thanks for the review.~Jim

Great as usual, I love the interaction between Harry and Luna. Can't wait to see what Snape wants, perhaps a olive branch? Fleur and Bill are wonderful as usual, even Kwan is becoming tolerable. Nice to see "Granger" put in her place. Waiting with Niffler like avarice for the remaining chapters and the five or six sequels you will of course be writing.

JBern replied:

Wow, I hope that it doesn't take 5 or 6 sequels to tell this story.   Of course there are options for what you can do if someone gives you an olive branch...~Jim

Jeez, can't Harry kill Dumbledore already? Just a little? Your Dumby really annoys me -- which is to say that it's spot on!

I also think this Chilotha thing could just fizzle out. Narcissa is smart and the books show that she is not afraid to lie to Voldemort nor to plot against him. She can easily figure that knowing anything about Riddle's horcruxes is fatal in the Dark Lord's presence. She would also know that any mention of Harry's Chilotha impersonations will result in a brutal mind-rape in which she would have no hope of hiding fatal secrets. Thus, she will not tell Voldy about Chilotha's alleged return.
~~~~~~
How could Harry stop Dumbledork from hearing the Daemon inside the memory? This does not seem possible given JKR's and your canon. The Daemon would likely be fighting to be heard by Dumby too.
Ginderella? Don't think that's too apt. Maybe Gindzilla? Gindora? Maybe, Gind-Ate (after the daughter of Eris)?
Anyway, outstanding chapter, per usual. Thanks!
JBern replied:
Harry stopped Dumbledore from hearing the Daemon by going into the memory with Dumbledore and standing next to the memories of Harry Bill Hack and Kwan where the Daemon's conversation wasn't audible.
As for Narcissa, we'll have to deal with that next chapter... sorry no free previews on that front.~Jim
You... are... EVILLLL!!!!!! (snaps millionth match over torch* Dammit!! *pulls out lighter*
*BOOOOM!!!!* *smoke clears* Wrong lighter... *mumbles about gas*
Anyways, that should be a good interaction, so I guess I will have to applaud you for waiting until next time for that scene... *sigh*. Will Harry rip him a new one (literally)?
Thanks and good luck with the projects
Hi!
Nice chapter, if a bit short... i'm SO looking for that confrontation? little chat? with snape :-D
Your story it's being translated? are you serius??? I want to translate it to spanish!!! Can you let me? :-D
JBern replied:
Glad you enjoyed it.   If you want to translate it into Spanish shoot me an email and we can discuss it further.~Jim
Cuey posted a comment on Saturday 9th February 2008 11:08am
Interesting move with the dementers, although I'm guessing they would need a highly trustworthy translator to decipher the message considering it is directly meant for Harry.
The goblin with the gold grill seems a little odd, but they are obsessed with it aren't they. I don't have a problem with it unless you depict him also wearing gold chains, calling diamonds "ice", and listening to rap music.
I don't think this chapter suffered from the lack of action since there was alot of other things happening, but considering how well you do fight scenes it would be nice to have one in the next chapter, espacially if Hack can get in on the fight.
JBern replied:
The goblin arranger rap star?   No, I think I'll pass on that.   I'll see if we can get the action back up to speed next chapter.   Either way Hack'll be back around.~Jim
Will the enchanted shotgun make another reappearance? Because I just loved that thing. The only thing cooler than that is Hack.
Will Hermione/Ginny survive the war?
JBern replied:
Shotgun, yes.   Hermione/Ginny, can't say.   I can promise more Hack.~Jim
rune1806 posted a comment on Saturday 9th February 2008 8:54am
Great writing on the intaction between Albus and Harry. Building up the questions with the runes, Snape and goblins, what are you planing? A naked Luna is needed by Harry he told me, really. WHERE ARE THE BODIES!!! I had over 5 death eaters and she had Bill hurt but not dead.
JBern replied:
Sometimes there is just low body count.   I know it's depressing, but what can you do?   I'll try to work on it next chapter.~Jim
pyrodaemon posted a comment on Saturday 9th February 2008 8:49am
Hack is GREAT! I know he has about the same humor as Hat from The Lie but it's just so much funnier with Hack. Man I want to read the next chapter see more of Hack but that'll wait until you update The Lie, uh?
I really liked this chapter, the way Harry rips Dumbledore to pieces just amuses me. Is Harry going to have a meet and greet with the Order? Or is that not in the books? If it is I can't wait to see it. Harry's probably more intelligent than most of them anyways.
Anyways I'd leave a longer review but I have a train to catch and won't be on for another month. I love this story!
JBern replied:
When you come back in a month, I should have updates of both stories for you.   Good luck wherever you're headed.~Jim
Is Hack a gourmet too? Or would he be a gourmand?
Excellent chapter. Loved the verbal badinage between Harry and Dumbles, the scene with Luna and the tension with Hermione.
I am eager to find out the Dementor's message, and the goblin stuff will be fun too.
JBern replied:
From Bungle - Hack liked it when flies got in his food.   It made things crunchy!   Glad that you're intrigued about where things are headed.   Next update in 3-4 weeks.~Jim
Gullwhacker2 posted a comment on Saturday 9th February 2008 6:47am
Huzzah! An update! A good update!
Five things stick out for me. In no particular order:
Dumbledore leaving Dung in Azkaban. He's...cold. Very cold.
Luna is always good. Enough said.
Bill as a Niffler. Surprising yet appropriate. Also, highly amusing.
Dementors. If one assumes that they hear the memory of the 'worst experience' when that effect kicks in... Well. Those Dementors that remembered little Harry's parent-memories and were looking to hear them again got a nasty shock. Just on general principle, I think even something as nasty as a Dementor might have reason to worry - something bigger might be hanging around. Wonder what the note will say.
Lastly, Snape. I have no idea whatsoever how that is going to go. But I'll put a few Knuts on wandfire being involved by the end of that talk.
JBern replied:
Glad things stuck out and really made you notice especially in what was a transition chapter.   I had originally planned on a longer chapter, but it was already over 9,500 words and I didn't want to launch the next arc otherwise I'd have been writing another full chapter.   That'll have to wait for 3-4weeks.~Jim
