Wow! I love the way you solve cliffhangers so quickly and with such style. That is really rewarding when I read one of your updates. They are always well worth waiting for. Thanks for the creative solution to the dementors. Dumbledore is still supporting Snape. Unbelievable! Poor Hagrid was certainly a pawn in this tragedy. Harry has made a new ally among dagerous people of the world. The hat's reaction during the dememtor attack was very interesting. I didn't think it would be afraid of dementors. I love the fact that Fleur stood up for what was right and fair for the points for the tournament event that was so rudely interupted. The little scene with Harry and Ron asking Fleur out to the Yule Ball was great. I love the way Harry turned it around on Fleur. That was perfect. I look forward to more of this story. Awesome :D I must admit, I love your writing style - you're not afraid to mix things up when you feel like it :D

More importantly however, you make Harry a total bad-ass without making everyone else look stupid. I must have read many re-do stories since they started appearing - but Lie is certainly my favourite and argueably the best of them all :)

I must say, the Puzzle Room is a tantelising prospct - I have been psyched for that ever sicne you first mentioned it - can't wait to see what HJ comes up with. I'd be tempted to guess he enchants a make-shift wand, though I'm not so sure that fits in with the JBern way of things?

Awesome update, looking forward to the next when, whenever it may be :D

Just a thing I noticed in most fanfictions where the Tri-wizard tournament happens... well, what happens with those points, if the last task is about getting the cup? Wouldn't that make the other tasks pointless? As such, I'd rather if you changed the last task a bit to reflect more individual skill.

Nice chapter! I like the assassination attempt on Manos not Harry - there is a lot going on that does not revolve around Harry. Well done.

Nice work showing the resourcefulness of Harry as well and the softening of Fleur in private. "I had almost forgotten what a cold hearted wench she could be in public" - Classic line and the Zag to ask Aimee was BRILLANT!

Manos owing Harry is an interesting twist . . where are you going with that?

Is Hermione still going out with Viktor? Who will Ron end up asking? Who will Fleur go with, after her ego -- and probably reputation -- took a beating?

I'm also looking forward to HJ playing dentist with Hermione.

Great chapter!

Loved the sudden change in direction on Fleur. Nothing tempts someone that can have everything like denying them the one thing they can't have. If nothing else, Sirius would get a good laugh out of it.

I like the way you resolved the dementor issue. First time I've seen that. Usually Harry gets a super-Patronus to kill them.

If Kwan is making an appearence, does that mean Harry might get a jungle troll to add to his menagerie with Hat, Dobbly, Hedwig and Fawkes?

Fantastic ending! HJ is playing hard to get, the little bugger and the cameo appearance of two BitJ characters was a pleasant surprise.

One question though, if Harry switched to French when he asked Aimee on a date, they would've have replied in the same language and as a result shouldn't Ron be more confused rather than shocked as to what had just happened?

Wow. Erm... Crossing TML with Lie? interesting touch.
Will we see a Jaguar Who happens to be trying to kill people that work with Death Eaters, and this was such a strike, only the Jaguar called it off just after seeing HJ in the 'ring, so to speak?

These chapters always end too soon!

Somehow I saw HJ asking Aimee coming, even before he asked Ron if he wanted to tag along (why?).

If only every new chapter of Lie could come out within the same time of each other as the last two did.

The Metal Cage Claws were a cool idea, and I thought the scene in general was handled very well.
